On October 30, the "Seeing the X Era" 2026 Rolansini Doors and Windows Ultra-Narrow X Series New Product Launch came to a successful conclusion. This time, we set out to answer one question: the impossible triangle of ultra-narrow windows.
Can a window achieve ultra-narrow aesthetics while sacrificing neither performance and safety nor cost control? At this "Seeing the X Era" event, Rolansini Chairman Xiong Zhibin personally presented Rolansini's answer.

Rolansini has always believed that the answer to how to develop and define a good door and window must lie in the terminal market.
During Rolansini's in-depth visits to terminal frontline markets across the country, we heard real expectations: designers longed for narrower frames and wider views; consumers worried whether safety could still be guaranteed after frames became narrower; and terminal sales advisors kept asking whether there was a more affordable ultra-narrow window that more people could buy.

Demand for ultra-narrow windows is exploding in the market today, but supply is distorted. On one hand, there is the "expensive ultra-narrow" — niche and imported brands generally start at ¥3,000/㎡, and such high prices have turned ultra-narrow aesthetics into a high-end choice for the few, leaving ordinary upgrading families unable to afford it. On the other hand, there is the "rushed ultra-narrow" — lacking professional teams and systematic R&D, relying on experience-based patchwork, and blindly pursuing extreme narrowness while ignoring overall performance and safety redundancy. Faced with industry chaos, ordinary users seem to be caught in a dilemma.
Rolansini has always been solving real-scenario pain points. Rolansini's ultra-narrow windows must deliver ultra-narrow aesthetics, safety redundancy, and controllable costs. This choice is difficult, but worthwhile.

After more than 100 days of repeated debugging and calculation, 5 rounds of starting over, and more than 30 local iterations, we scrapped 12 sets of molds and iterated 37 versions of mechanical solutions. Rolansini's ultra-narrow aesthetic flagship — the G9X Ultra-Narrow Aesthetic Window — was born.

The G5 is an extreme-weather solution, and the G7 is an extreme-weather large-window solution. The G9X integrated ultra-narrow outward-opening window is a new demand born from the collision between door and window performance and the aesthetic era. As Chairman Xiong summarized at the launch: the G9X outward-opening window — subtraction on the outside, addition on the inside, more than beauty, a performance king.

Subtraction on the outside, so beauty can be seen.
Visual subtraction 1: the disappearing frame.
Industry-first full-screen ultra-narrow glass sash design, the "iPhone X" of doors and windows. Only glass is seen, no frame — like a picture frame framing the view.
Visual subtraction 2: the elegant arc.
Rolansini's original Italian minimalist micro-arc design, no right angles, more reassuring, making the home softer.
A minimalist design "all-rounder." 20mm ultra-narrow mullion design, paired with German ROTO ultra-narrow side-mounted handles. The presence of profiles is minimized to the extreme, making doors and windows blend seamlessly with the building.

Addition on the inside, so the home is more reassuring.
Beneath the ultra-narrow appearance, we have endowed the G9X with super-strong safety redundancy.
Extra-extra-extra-large thermal break strips: industry-first 39mm extra-large thermal break strip configuration (ribbed multi-cavity), more than twice as wide as ordinary outward-opening windows, with thermal insulation comparable to inward-opening windows.
Small-cold, large-warm structural innovation: a "small cold cavity, large warm cavity" structural design, consistent with the thermal insulation structure of inward-opening windows, achieving thermal insulation performance comparable to inward-opening windows in outward-opening windows (north windows for southern use).
Extreme sealing performance: fully vertical isotherm design, three-pass sealing design, built-in hinge structure, efficiently blocking thermal bridges, resisting wind, rain, and water seepage.
Ample safety redundancy: mullion reinforcement with steel insertion technology, like an invisible load-bearing wall; 130mm extra-large wall-occupying width, 87.5mm widened window sash design, and 2.5mm main wall thickness under the new national standard — not afraid of extreme weather at all!

From Capricorn G5 to G7, and now to today's ultra-narrow flagship G9X, Rolansini has walked a long yet firm road. This road began with resolute resistance to extreme weather, matured through the ultimate pursuit of super-large views, and now embraces the brand-new challenge of the era where aesthetics and performance go hand in hand.

Along this road, we have always insisted on "making better doors and windows, protecting more homes and families."
From making better doors and windows to making them available to more people, we deeply understand that making better doors and windows is a capability, while making them affordable for more people is our choice. We do not play with concepts, we do not chase hype, and we are willing to steadily solve consumers' real problems, using the power of the brand system to break through price barriers and truly turn ultra-narrow windows from "a choice of the few" into "the daily life of more people."

Seeing is only the starting point; the era begins here. Next time, when we look out the window through doors and windows, what we see will be not only a broader view but also the warm, beautiful life that Rolansini has built for more users.
