I. Project Background

Eco Garden Huế, Vietnam, a high-end residential complex with over 300 villas.The owner’s villa was located at an intersection,wanted to replace all the existing door and window systems.

These construction-grade windows were typically functional, with issues such as weak profile reinforcement, poor wind-resistant windows that were prone to deformation over time and could loosen or even fall off during typhoons. There were also issues with the glass (mostly single-glazed or non-argon-filled insulating glass, which offered no effective sound insulation or infrared and UV radiation protection and easily fogged, significantly reducing the user experience). Furthermore, the hardware was of poor quality (unknown brand handles lacked locking points and were easily pried open, leading to loosening, jamming, and noise over time, posing significant safety risks). The client also sought to meet the following core requirements:

1. Enhanced aesthetics: Door and window design should enhance the sense of spatial transparency and seamlessly integrate the interior and exterior landscapes;

2. Enhanced sound and thermal insulation: Addressing the challenges of street noise and the tropical climate, creating a constant temperature and quiet living environment;

3. Optimized functionality: Doors and windows should adapt to the needs of different scenarios, ensuring optimal lighting, ventilation, security, and privacy.

1. Zone-Based Design Strategy

① First Floor Lobby

Product Features: 78 Series Double Glazed Hurricane Impact Bifold Doors (Fully Openable).

Design Highlights:

- Large opening area allows for full connection between the foyer and the garden during gatherings, enhancing spatial interactivity;

- Sound insulation exceeding 35dB significantly reduces street noise.

③ High-Rise Landscape Window

Product Configuration: 120 series integrated outward-opening window with screen/top-hung window.

Design Highlights:

- Built-in guardrail and opening restriction device to ensure child safety;

- Top-hung window design allows for bottom ventilation, preventing direct sea breezes from affecting comfort.

-As a representative of high-end German hardware, SIEGENIA's handles have a tensile strength more than double that of ordinary hardware, making them safer and more durable. The lock points and lock holders have a pry resistance of 3000N, more than three times that of ordinary hardware, providing strong anti-theft performance.

- One-touch lift operation. When declining, it serves as a glass fence separating the lounge area and when raised, it restores a panoramic view.
