The developer requires the construction of an industrial park integrating high-cleanliness production facilities and modern office and R&D buildings. Located in Fujian Province, a coastal region in southeastern China, Fujian experiences a hot summer and mild winter climate (southern region) and is characterized by high typhoon incidence, high humidity, high salinity, and strong sunlight. They have imposed stringent technical requirements on the building envelope system—particularly the glass facade and window products:
· Must comply with national commercial/industrial building codes such as the *Standard for Energy Conservation Design of Public Buildings* (GB 50189) and *Building Curtain Wall* (GB/T 21086);
· Consider architectural aesthetics, natural lighting, and visual transparency;
· Possess excellent thermal insulation performance to reduce air conditioning energy consumption;
· Possess superior wind pressure resistance to ensure structural safety during typhoon season;
· Meet comprehensive performance requirements for airtightness, watertightness, and fire safety.

With its superior product performance, complete compliance certifications, and proven application experience in typhoon-prone areas, our company stood out from the fierce competition and successfully won the bid for the curtain wall window supply and technical services for this project. Through customized technical solutions, multiple site visits, and iterative optimization, along with numerous rounds of technical briefings with the owner, design institute, and general contractor, we achieved this goal. The client highly praised our "solid technical expertise, rapid response, and trustworthiness."
The R9 system has a structural depth of 175mm and a mid-section wall thickness of 3.0mm, allowing for the inclusion of reinforcing steel plates. Its wind pressure resistance has been measured at ≥5.5 kPa (Level 9), far exceeding the design requirements of 0.75–0.90 kN/m² for the basic wind pressure in coastal Fujian.
The multi-cavity design with equal-pressure drainage achieves a watertightness of over 700 Pa (Level 6), effectively resisting the infiltration of strong winds and oblique rain accompanying heavy rainfall in Fujian.
The system has passed third-party wind tunnel simulation tests in Xiamen, verifying its stability under complex wind conditions.

Fujian Province explicitly requires that the heat transfer coefficient (U-value) of exterior windows in newly constructed public buildings be ≤ 2.0 W/(m²·K) (for the hot-summer, warm-winter southern region). The R9 system achieves top-tier thermal performance and anti-condensation capabilities through:
·29mm German Technoform ultra-wide thermal insulation strip;
·High-performance thermal insulation cotton filling the cavity;
·Triple-glazed windows + warm edge strip, achieving superior thermal performance and anti-condensation performance.
·Configuration: 5mm ultra-clear glass + double silver Low-E film + 12A argon layer + 6mm hollow layer + 12A argon filling + 5mm tempered glass (i.e., "5+12A+6+12A+5" triple-glazed, two-cavity structure);
·Standard warm edge spacer strip significantly reduces heat transfer along the edge line, effectively preventing condensation on the inner surface of the window frame in Fujian's high-humidity environment;
·The overall window heat transfer coefficient (U-value) is reduced to ≤1.3 W/(m²·K), far exceeding the "Fujian Provincial Green Building Design Standard" (DBJ/T) 13-197) Limits for exterior windows of public buildings in the hot summer and warm winter area, with U≤2.0;
·Weighted sound insulation Rw ≥ 40 dB, effectively isolating traffic and equipment operation noise around the park, ensuring a quiet environment for offices and laboratories.

Although the curtain wall windows themselves are not fire-resistant components, all glass used in the R9 system is tempered safety glass, complying with the "Regulations on the Management of Architectural Safety Glass." In areas near fire compartments or evacuation routes, fire-resistant glass with a fire resistance integrity of ≥0.5 hours can be optionally installed, meeting the relevant requirements of GB 50016. Furthermore, the surface utilizes a fluorocarbon process, providing excellent corrosion resistance and UV resistance, with a color retention period of over 20 years, adapting to high-salt-spray coastal environments and reducing overall life-cycle maintenance costs.
